50 Reasons Why IT Can’t Be Done It’s been done this way for years, why change now? I don’t like it. I know it won’t work. That’s his/her job, not mine. We don’t have enough time for it. It’s not practical. It costs too much. We can’t pay for needed tools/equipment/supplies/labor. It’s been tried before. I don’t get it. It’s against office policy. Our office is different. We don’t do it that way. We can’t do it that way. It won’t work in a small Chiropractic office. It won’t work in a medium-sized Chiropractic office. It won’t work in a large Chiropractic office. It won’t work in any Chiropractic office. Another Chiropractor tried it once. The patient won’t like it. The patient likes it this way. The Doctor won’t like it. The Associate won’t like it. The receptionist won’t like it. The therapist won’t like it. My spouse won’t like it. The accountant won’t like it. No other Chiropractor is doing it. It’s never been done before. The boss will never allow it. We can’t phase it in. It’s too late now to make changes. We can’t stop for that now. This isn’t the right time for it. We haven’t the time to go into the details now. Let someone else try it first. Let’s think about it some more. We’re over the budget already. We’re happy with it this way. We’ll come back to it later. It’s too visionary. It’s too radical. It will make the other procedures obsolete. We can’t take the chance. It needs more committee study. It’s impossible. No one will understand it. No one taught me how to do it. Don’t bother me with facts; my mind’s made up. We’re not ready for it yet.
